To ask the Minister for Finance if he has considered the claim of Mr. Maurice Fitzgerald, Cork, late of the Inland Revenue Department, for compensation; and, if not, when does he propose to consider it?
CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. - CLAIM FOR COMPENSATION.
It is not admitted that Mr. Fitzgerald has any claim. A Committee is about to be set up to deal with cases of Civil Servants in which at present there is no proof of victimisation. If Mr. Fitzgerald's case comes within the terms of reference the Committee will, no doubt, give it full consideration.
