To ask the Minister for Industry and Commerce if owing to lack of suitable accommodation for housing any large number of National troops in the town of Birr (Offaly), caused by the deliberate destruction of the military barracks there, and resulting in serious unemployment from this and other causes, he can state whether it is the intention of the Government to undertake the work of rebuilding this barracks at an early date.
