To ask the Minister for Defence if he is aware that the Military Authorities at Galway commandeered a bicycle belonging to Mrs. B. Mahon, wife of Dr. Mahon, of Nile Lodge, Galway, on September 15th, giving a receipt for same, whether several applications have been made, both to the local military and to the Claims Office, Portobello, for the return of the bicycle, or compensation in lieu of same, and whether he will give instructions that this machine be restored to the owner or the value of same paid to her.
