The message prescribed by the Constitution has been received from the Governor-General recommending the expenditure which the following resolution authorises. It is not necessary to say anything about it, as the resolution speaks for itself.

That for the purpose of any Act of the present Session to enable during a limited period persons to be appointed temporarily to execute the duties of certain offices connected with the administration of justice which are, or shall within a limited time become vacant and to restrict the making of permanent appointments to certain other such offices, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas of the remuneration and salaries of persons appointed under such Act, and of any other expenses incurred in carrying such Act into effect. |
