Vol. 7 No. 7

DAIL IN COMMITTEE. - HOUR OF MEETING.

I suggest that the Dáil assembles to-morrow at 5 o'clock, as it did to-day.

That is a matter for the Minister.

These Resolutions must be reported, I think, on Tuesday next, I, unfortunately, will not be able to be here late to-morrow night nor on Friday, and I would like you to take them at 3 o'clock to-morrow if it would suit the Dáil. If we are not able to get through them then I feel that we could get through on Tuesday.

I suggest to Deputy Gorey that he might imitate my example and get up at 7 o'clock to-morrow morning and go to the Show.

I am not speaking on behalf of myself alone, but on behalf of a good many of the members of our Party and some members outside our Party. If the suggestion were accepted it would be a great convenience to some of our people.

The Minister cannot be here after 6 o'clock to-morrow.

I have worked nearly 12 hours to-day, and I do not want to work 14 hours to-morrow.

I have seen the Minister and other members of the Government taking a very great interest in cattle to-day. We have not been able to see one-third of the exhibits yet.

The Show opens at half-past nine.

I think the Farmers' Deputies might pair with some other Deputies.

They have had a surfeit of that from their experience to-day.

This is a matter that cannot be decided now if the Minister opposes it.

If the Minister opposes it I do not press it. With regard to the suggestion of pairing, our experience of that is very unfortunate.
