I beg to move for leave to introduce a Bill to provide for the payment of military service pensions to certain members and former members of the National Forces and the Defence Forces of Saorstát Eireann. This Bill, with one which was introduced yesterday, will, I hope, remedy some of the omissions of the last year and provide compensation and allowances for persons who have rendered good service.
