Vol. 8 No. 7

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - PAYMENT OF WITNESS'S EXPENSES.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that Gilbert Lynch, 35 Parnell Square, Dublin, has repeatedly applied to Mr. E. Duffy, State Solicitor, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, for payment of expenses incurred in attending a trial as witness at Cavan in February, April and June, 1923; that Mr. Duffy has stated that the matter is one for the Chief State Solicitor, and if he will instruct the latter to make payment, as it is now long overdue.

Inquiries have been made in the matter, but have not yet been completed. When full information is available it will be communicated to the Deputy direct.
