Vol. 8 No. 13

ORDER OF BUSINESS.

As a matter of order, if a new Money Resolution is introduced in connection with the Military Service Pensions Bill, will the amendments that were ruled out of order yesterday be restored to the Order Paper?

On the question of the Money Resolution, if a new Money Resolution is introduced the amendments already ruled out of order will be allowed to appear upon the Paper, but that does not necessarily mean that they will be in order under the new Resolution which I have not seen.

We propose to sit until 10.30 and adjourn somewhere about 6.30. With regard to the Order of Business, I think that the Dairy Produce Bill is overlooked, and that it should come in between Items 3 and 4.

The Dairy Produce Bill should appear on the Order Paper, but by inadvertence it was omitted. Does the Minister intend that the Dairy Produce Bill should be taken after No. 4 and before Vote 3?

It is suggested that it should be taken between Items 3 and 4.

My recollection of the arrangement, which is not definite, is that we should take Items 1, 2, 3 and 4, on the Order Paper, that we should then resume the consideration of Vote No. 3, and then before continuing the other Estimates, to take the Dairy Produce Bill.

Agreed.
