I move:—
“Chun críche aon Achta a rithfar sa tSiosón so chun leasú do dhéanamh ar na hAchtanna um Arachas Díomhaointis, 1920 go 1924, agus chun críocheanna bhaineas leis sin, go bhfuil sé oiriúnach a údarú— |
That, for the purpose of any Act of the present Session to amend the Unemployment Insurance Acts, 1920 to 1924, and for purposes connected therewith, it is expedient to authorise— |
(1) go n-íocfar amach as airgead a sholáthróid an tOireachtas aon chostaisí fé n-a raghfar fén Acht san ar son sochair dhíomhaointis speisialta do dhaoine áirithe a scuireadh O Fhórsaí Mileata Shaorstáit Eireann; |
(1) the payment out of moneys to be provided by the Oireachtas of any expenses incurred under such Act in respect of special unemployment benefit for certain persons discharged from the Military Forces of Saorstát Eireann; |
(2) go n-iocfar amach as an bPrímh-Chiste no as a thora fáis aon tsuimeanna is gá chun íochta na bhfiachaisí a bheidh ar an gCiste Díomhaointis fé sna hAchtanna um Arachas Díomhaointis, 1920 go 1924, mar a leasófar leis an Acht san iad; |
(2) the issue out of the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof of any sums required for the purpose of discharging the liabilities of the Unemployment Fund under the Unemployment Insurance Acts, 1920 to 1924, as amended by such Act. |
(3) go gcuirfar ar an bPrímhChiste no ar a thora fáis muirear colann agus ús aon urúsanna a tabharfar amach fén Acht san chun iasachtaí d'fhail agus muirear aon chostaisí fé n-a raghfar mar gheall ar thabhairt-amach na n-urús san. |
(3) the charge upon the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof of the principal and interest of any securities issued for the purpose of borrowing under such Act, and of any expenses incurred in connection with the issue of such securities.” |
As already stated, the expenditure which would be incurred under the Act amounts to £250,000 in respect of ordinary, insured persons; £120,000 in respect of soldiers who are brought into benefit, and £15,000 is the estimated administrative charge in connection with the new Act.
