Vol. 10 No. 7

SUMMER TIME BILL, 1925.—FIRST STAGE.

I ask leave to introduce the Summer Time Bill, 1925. The lines upon which it is drawn are such that it will be only necessary in future to give notice of the time on which the Act will come into operation.

Question put—"That leave be given to introduce the Bill"—agreed.
Bill read a first time.

I propose to take the Second Stage on Tuesday.

I understand the Local Government Bill will be down for Tuesday, and the Treasonable and Seditious Offences Bill will also be down for that date. I suggest that those two Bill will provide us with about as much work for that day as we will be able to discharge.

The strain which will be imposed by consideration of this Bill will not be such as to warrant a change to another day.

Second Stage of Summer Time Bill, 1925, fixed for Tuesday, 10th March, 1925.
