I beg to give notice that I intend to raise on the adjournment this evening, the question of the manner in which military stores are controlled in Athlone, which resulted in the death of three men in the military barracks there. If it would be more convenient for the Dáil or the Minister that this question should be adjourned until to-morrow, I am quite prepared to leave it over until to-morrow, and raise it on the adjournment then. I am giving timely notice of the matter now so that I may be able to get some satisfactory reply from the Minister for Defence, and in order that he may make proper arrangements for the control of these stores in the future.
