Vol. 11 No. 2

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - POSTAL FACILITIES IN SKERRIES.

TOMAS MacEOIN

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he has received a request from the Skerries Improvement Committee for improved postal facilities for Skerries, so that the first delivery may be made as early, and the last delivery as late, as is the case in Balbriggan, and whether he can see his way to meet the request.

The application from the Skerries Improvements Committee has been considered and arrangements are being made under which, on and from the 27th instant, the morning delivery will be made 40 minutes earlier than at present.

An evening delivery is not afforded at Skerries. The reference in the question should perhaps be to the last despatch, which, however, is made by the same train as that from Balbriggan.
