Vol. 11 No. 8

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - ARREARS OF ARMY PAY.

asked the Minister for Defence whether an application for arrears of pay has been received from Mr. John Regan, of Clare Street, Ballyhaunis, who gave one hundred and eighty-four days' active service in the National Army (No. 12729 Volunteer) and was discharged with a very good record on the 31st January, 1923, in consequence of his period of service having expired, and if he will state the reason for the delay in the payment of these arrears.

A cheque for £7 in respect of arrears of pay is being issued to Mr. Regan forthwith. The delay in making this payment was due to difficulty in obtaining verification of his claim.
