Vol. 13 No. 6

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - MEATH CO. HOME BREAD SUPPLY.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he is aware that the Meath Co. Board of Health has recently given a contract for the supply of bread for the County Hospital and Home to an institution which was not able to comply with the conditions of the advertisement for tenders stipulating for Trade Union labour and wages; whether it is the practice of his Department to insist upon observance of advertised conditions, and, if so, whether he proposes to take any action in this case.

If the Deputy will be so good as to furnish me with some further particulars in this matter, I will be pleased to look into it and take any action that may appear to be necessary and advisable.
