asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware that a contract has been entered into between Messrs. Lippens and a Belgian firm of manure manufacturers to import a large quantity of artificial manures, and if he will take steps to see whether this firm, which is being subsidised by the taxpayers, will make arrangements with Irish firms to supply whatever artificial manures are required in the production of beet in the Saorstát.
