WRITTEN ANSWERS. - TURBARY RIGHTS OF MOUNTRATH OCCUPIERS.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if he received a memorial from a large number of small holders on land adjacent to the Coste Estate, Mountrath, Leix, regarding rights of turbary on the estate, and if he will instruct the Land Commission to arrange for an Inspector to visit the district and furnish an early report on the merits of this application.

Mr. HOGAN

A memorial has been received in the Land Commission giving the names of a number of persons stated to be in possession of labourers' cottages on the Coste Estate and who desire rights of turbary. The matter will be referred to an Inspector for report as soon as possible.
