Vol. 14 No. 11

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CO. WICKLOW EVICTED TENANT.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if he is aware that in the year 1890 the late Patrick Farrell was evicted from a holding on the estate of the late Fletcher Moore, Manor Kilbride, Co. Wicklow (present owner, Colonel Scott Moore), for non-payment of three half-years' rent; that the representative of the evicted tenant, Patrick Farrell, Old Jail, Naas, on his own behalf and on behalf of his mother and sister, has applied for restoration to the farm; that the present occupier is prepared to facilitate this, and if, the facts being as stated, the Minister will direct that steps be taken for the reinstatement of the Farrell family.

Mr. HOGAN

The Land Commission have received an application from Patrick Farrell, junior, for reinstatement in a holding in the townland of Kilbride on the estate of Colonel Scott Moore, County Dublin, from which the late Patrick Farrell had been evicted for non-payment of rent. This application will be considered when the estate is being dealt with in its order under the Land Act, 1923.
