asked the Minister for Finance if he will state how many retirements under Clause X of the Treaty are now pending awaiting the decision of the appeal to the Privy Council in the "Wigg and Cochrane" case, and how many from each State Department, specifying same; what is the date of the earliest application for retirement now pending; how many applications were received in 1924 and 1925, respectively; whether he can say when the next sitting of the Civil Service Compensation Committee will take place, and when a successor will be appointed to replace the Hon. Mr. Justice Wylie, who resigned the Chairmanship thereof in June, 1924.
