Vol. 14 No. 13

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - ALLOCATION OF AGRICULTURAL GRANT.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state how the Agricultural Grant voted last year has been allocated as between the counties in the Saorstát, and of the amount advanced to Donegal how much is held against arrears of Land Commission annuities.

It is presumed that the Deputy refers to the Supplementary Agricultural Grant of £599,011 for the financial year 1925/26, which was voted by the Oireachtas in pursuance of the Local Government (Rates on Agricultural Land) Act, 1925. No deductions were made in the distributions on account of Land Commission annuities or for any other cause. The supplementary sum of £599,011 was allocated between the counties in the Saorstát as follows:—
