asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the number of civil servants who are protected by Article 10 of the Treaty, 1921, under Votes Nos. 31, 32, 33, 38, 39, and 63 for the year 1926-27 and showing (a) the total amount of salary paid to those civil servants under each Vote, and (b) the total amount of bonus paid to those civil servants under each Vote.

I might say that the salary and bonus figures given are only approximate. They are calculated on the mean of the scale of each appropriate grade. It would be necessary to consult the Departments to get the precise salaries and bonus charged in each case. These figures are roughly accurate, but not accurate to the pound.
