Vol. 16 No. 2

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - GERRARDSTOWN FARM (CO. MEATH).

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if he will state whether the farm at Gerrardstown, Dunshaughlin (Bulter Estate), recently acquired by the Land Commission, is let to a grazing tenant or tenants, and, if so, to whom; and, if not, whether the farm was stocked by the Land Commission.

This holding, which contains 666 acres, 0 roods, 22 perches, was resumed by the Irish Land Commission pursuant to an order of the Judicial Commissioner. It is proposed to reserve the holding for migration and pending the selection of a suitable migrant or migrants the lands have been let in divisions to 1st December next.

Will no portion of this farm be allocated for landless men or uneconomic holders in the district?

Mr. HOGAN

I could not say that. That will depend on the scheme.
