Vol. 17 No. 1

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - DIVISION OF BALLINAHOWN LANDS.

SEAN O LAIDHIN

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if it is intended to acquire the lands of Moyvouchley, Moate, consisting of over eight hundred acres the property of Mrs. O'Donoghue, Ballinahown Court, and at present occupied by Mrs. M. Maher, and, if so, whether he can state when same will be divided amongst the local congests.

Mr. HOGAN

The lands referred to comprise a holding in the occupation of Mrs. Mary Maher as judicial tenant on the estate of Mrs. Ellen O'Donoghue, Co. Westmeath, which is being dealt with under the Land Act of 1923. The Provisional List for this estate is being prepared for publication, and it is anticipated that it will be published in the course of the next few weeks. The holding in question will be a retained holding pursuant to Section 28 (6) (b) of the Act, and will be dealt with by the Land Commission as such.
