asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if the Land Commission have definitely decided to deal with the estate of John A. Lewis, Co. Galway (Record No. S. 1990), and to retain for the relief of congestion the tenancies claimed by the owner's uncle and agent (Henry H. Lewis) in the townland of Ballygowan, also the tenancy claimed by William J. Farren in the townland of Alleendarra West.

The question of the retention under Section 28 (6) of the Land Act, 1923, of the holdings mentioned in the question with a view to their resumption is under consideration by the Land Commission.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture what is the area and location of the estate of H. H. Lewis, Co. Galway (Record No. N. 1445), that the Land Commission are considering the acquisition of.

H. H. Lewis owns a demesne with dwellinghouse and offices situate in the townland of Gortnakilla, comprising 142a. 1r. 29p.

Is Mr. Lewis a judicial tenant on the estate?
