Vol. 19 No. 20

QUESTION ON THE ADJOURNMENT.

I beg to give notice that on the motion for the Adjournment I will raise the question of the policy of the Post Office in importing people into the Dublin postal district on promotion.

With your permission, sir, would you allow me to ask a question arising out of the reply given by the Minister to my question on the Order Paper? I have a letter which states——

You want to ask another question?

No; it is a matter of procedure.

The Deputy cannot ask another question arising out of Question No. 2, which has been disposed of. He would have to put down a further question and give notice.

This is a matter affecting another Department.

If it is, you must bring it up to-morrow, as it cannot be taken to-day without notice.

Deputy Dolan knows something about the matter I am speaking of. He got the resolution to forward to the Executive Council. He shelved the resolution.
