Vol. 19 No. 21

ORDUITHE AN LAE. - THE ADJOURNMENT.

I move that the Dáil adjourn until Wednesday, 11th inst., at 3 o'clock. I do not know that I can subscribe entirely to what Deputy Johnson said about the House not doing its business. It is certainly doing the business better than those who are absent.

It is going through with the business, that is all.

Did I understand the President to say the second week of June?

Yes, I am still hoping for that. As to the question proposed to be raised by Deputy Doyle, I should like to say that I have not yet been able to get the information and I would ask him to leave the matter over until Wednesday. The Deputy can make his case if he wishes, but I would not be in a position to answer until Wednesday.

I am prepared to wait until then.

Question put and agreed to.
The Dáil adjourned at 5.10 p.m., until 3 p.m. Wednesday, 11th May.
