PRIVATE BUSINESS. - DUBLIN PORT AND DOCKS (BRIDGE) BILL, 1927—MESSAGE FROM THE SEANAD.

The Order of the Day for the consideration of the following Message from the Seanad was read:—
"Seanad Eireann has passed the following resolution, in which the concurrence of the Dáil is desired:—
"Go bhfuil sé oiriúnach Co-Choiste den dá Thigh do cheapa chun Bille Port agus Duganna Bhaile Atha Cliath (Droichead), 1927 (a cuireadh ar fionnraoi do réir Bhuan-Orduithe i dtaobh Gnótha Phríobháidigh adhin an Dáil agus an Seanad ar 13º Bealtaine, 1927), do bhreithniú eadhon Bille dá ngairmtear Acht chun a chur ar chumas Bord Port agus Duganna Bhaile Atha Cliath, Droichead Bhutt d'ath-thógáil, d'atharú, agus d'fhairsighniu; chun cistí do sholáthar chun na hoibreacha so do dhéanamh; chun ráta breise no ráta in ionad seanarátaí áirithe d'údarú agus chun crícheanna eile.”
"That it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the Dublin Port and Docks (Bridge) Bill, 1927 (suspended in accordance with Standing Orders of the Dáil and Seanad relative to Private Business of the 13th May, 1927), being a Bill entitled an Act to enable the Dublin Port and Docks Board to rebuild, alter and enlarge Butt Bridge to provide funds for the execution of these works; to authorise an additional or substituted rate in the place of certain existing rates, and for other purposes.”
Resolved:—"That the Dáil concur with the Seanad in their Resolution communicated to the Dáil the 22nd day of July, 1927, that it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the Dublin Port and Docks (Bridge) Bill, 1927 (suspended in accordance with Standing Orders of the Dáil and Seanad relative to Private Business of the 13th May, 1927.)— (The Leas-Cheann Comhairle).
