CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - RELIEF WORKS IN WEST CORK.

asked the Minister for Fisheries if he will state the total amount of money allocated to the constituency, West Cork, for the expenditure by the Land Commission on relief works; the number of such works already started, and the nature and location of same; the number of other works which it is contemplated to start, and the number and names of the proposed works inspected by the Commissioners' Inspector, with the number rejected.

The total amount allocated for relief works in the West Cork area is £3,500. Works have been started as follows:—

The total expenditure on these works is estimated to be £2,800.

In addition to the foregoing, works involving an estimated expenditure of £700 will be started shortly, but the locality of these works has not yet been definitely fixed.
