PRIVATE BUSINESS. - MESSAGE FROM THE SEANAD.

Tá Seanad Eireann tar éis an Rún so leanas do rith agus ba mhaith leo go n-aontódh Dáil Eireann leis:—

Seanad Eireann has passed the following Resolution, in which the concurrence of Dáil Eireann is desired:—

“Go bhfuil sé oiriúnach Có-Choiste den dá Thigh do cheapa chun Bille Scoileanna fé Bhronntanas Phort-láirge agus an Easbuig O Fiaich (Leasú), 1928, do bhreithniú, eadhon, Bille dá ngairmtear Act chun na comhachta a bronntar leis an Waterford and Bishop Foy Endowed Schools Act, 1902, ar Rialuitheoirí na Scol san do leathnú agus chun a chur ar chumas Coimisinéirí na dTabhartas agus na dTiománta Déirciúla in Eirinn forálacha an Achta san d'atharú o am go ham ar iarratas Rialuitheoirí na Scol san.”

“That it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the Waterford and Bishop Foy Endowed Schools (Amendment) Bill, 1928, being a Bill entitled an Act to extend the powers conferred by the Waterford and Bishop Foy Endowed Schools Act, 1902, upon the Governors of the said Schools and to enable the Commissioners of Charitable Donations and Bequests for Ireland to alter from time to time the provisions of the said Act upon the application of the Governors of the said Schools.”

LEAS-CHEANN COMHAIRLE: I move:—

“Go n-aontuighidh an Dáil leis an Seanad ina Rún a cuireadh in úil don Dáil an 10adh Iúl, 1928, go bhfuil sé oiriúnach Có-Choiste den Dá Thighdo cheapa chun Bille Scoileanna fé Bhronntanas Phort-láirge agus an Easbuig O Fiaich (Leasú), 1928, do bhreithniú.”

“That the Dáil concur with the Seanad in their Resolution communicated to the Dáil the 10th July, 1928, that it is expedient that a Joint Committeeof both Houses be appointed to consider the Waterford and Bishop Foy Endowed Schools (Amendment) Bill, 1928.”
