Vol. 25 No. 5

(CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS). (ORAL ANSWERS). - MILITARY SERVICE PENSION.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he can state if Peter Golden, of Killabuonia, The Glen, Caherciveen, Co. Kerry, is the man represented as Peter Golden, Kerry, in the list of persons supplied by his Department as being in receipt of pensions under the Military Service, Pensions Act, 1924; and, if so, whether he will state the years of service, and the services rendered which entitle this man to such pension.

The reply to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The years of service which entitle Peter Golden to his pension make up the period from the 1st April, 1921, to the 30th September, 1923. The Board of Assessors reported to me that he rendered service as required by the Military Service Pensions Act, 1924, throughout that period.
