Vol. 27 No. 1

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - HOSPITAL FACILITIES IN KINSALE.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is aware of the urgent need for adequate hospital facilities in Kinsale in view of the long distance over which patients have to be conveyed and the consequent danger and inconvenience thereto; if he is further aware that the South Cork Board of Public Assistance have passed the necessary money required for the reconstruction of the old workhouse hospital into a suitable cottage hospital, and whether he will take steps to have this work expedited.

Plans and specifications for an hospital in Kinsale are at present under consideration. There will be no avoidable delay in completing the consideration of the matter.
