Vol. 32 No. 2

Game Preservation Bill, 1929—Money Resolution.

The Dáil went into Committee on Finance.
Mr. Blythe: I move:—
Go bhfuil sé oiriúnach a údarú n-íocfar amach as airgead a sholáthróidh an tOireachtas aon chostaisí fé n-a raghfar chun aon Acht do chur in éifeacht a rithfar sa tSiosón so chun socrú níos fearr do dhéanamh chun géim do chosaint agus chuige sin socrú do dhéanamh chun deighleálaithe i ngéim do chur, fé riail agus chun nithe eile a bhaineann no a chabhruíonn le géim do chosaint.
That it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys to be provided by the Oireachtas of any expenses incurred in carrying into effect any Act of the present Session to make better provision for the preservation of game, and for that purpose to make provision for the control of game dealers and for other matters incidental or conducive to the preservation of game.
The amount of expenditure that will arise in connection with this Bill is estimated to be very small. The publication of Orders made by Ministers and of lists of persons holding game licences is not expected to exceed £50 per annum. The duties thrown on the Civic Guards will not, it is anticipated, involve any increase in the force, and consequently will not involve any increased expenditure.
Question put and agreed to.
The Dáil went but of Committee.
