asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether objection has been lodged with the Railway Tribunal against the Great Southern Railways Company reduction of cross-Channel rates; and, if so, by whom and when.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cross-Channel Rates.
I do not consider it desirable to set the precedent of answering for the Railway Tribunal in respect of applications invoking its jurisdiction. The Tribunal is a court of record and controls its own proceedings. Inquiries as to whether its jurisdiction has been invoked in any particular case would preferably be addressed to the Tribunal itself.
