Housing Bill, 1930—Money Resolution.

The Dáil went into Committee on Finance.

I move:

Go bhfuil sé oiriúnach a údarú go n-íocfar amach, as airgead a sholáthróidh an tOireachtas, deontaisí is iníoctha fé aon Acht a rithfear sa tSiosón so chun Achtanna na dTithe, 1925 do 1929, agus Acht na dTithe, 1929, do leasú: Ach ní raghaidh suim iomlán na ndeontas do deonadh no deonfar, fé Achtanna na dTithe, 1925, 1928, 1929 agus fén Acht san a rithfear sa tSiosón so, thar suim Mhilleoin agus Dhá Chéad go leith Míle Punt.

That it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys to be provided by the Oireachtas of grants payable under any Act of the present Session to amend the Housing Acts, 1925 to 1929, and the Housing Act, 1929: Provided that the aggregate amount of grants made or to be made under the Housing Acts, 1925, 1928, 1929 and such Act of the present Session shall not exceed the sum of One Million, Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Pounds.

The motion simply provides for an increase of £200,000 in the State Grants.
