Vol. 39 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Report of Grain Inquiry Tribunal.

asked the President if he would request the Grain Inquiry Tribunal to expedite its report so that its findings, if favourable to the applicants, may be implemented before farmers are compelled to dispose of the produce of this year's grain crop.

I understand that the report of the Grain Inquiry Tribunal is on the eve of completion.

Will the President say how long it has been there?

That is not in the question, but I will find out for the Deputy, if he wishes.

Does the President think that the Executive Council will have time to consider it before the present grain crop will be offered for sale?

I should say it would. The Deputy does not anticipate that the present grain crop will be offered for sale within the next two months?

At the end of September?

There will be time to consider it in that time.
