Vol. 40 No. 5

Questions on Adjournment.

I wish to give notice that I shall raise the subject-matter of question 2 on the Adjournment. I can give absolute proof that the military were there on that particular night. The whole countryside can prove it.

When the Deputy goes home and inquires, he will find that he has got the wrong end of the stick.

Notice has been given of two questions on the Adjournment. One question refers to the subject-matter of question 3, on which, we are assured, the Minister is not prepared to answer. The other question refers to a matter on which there is a complete conflict of testimony. I shall have to give the matter some thought.

I am prepared to leave the question of which I gave notice over until to-morrow.

I should prefer to raise the question of which I gave notice to-night.
