asked the Minister for Finance whether he will state (1) what payments, if any, have been made by the Department of Finance to the British Government since the 9th March last; (2) what payments, if any, have become due to the British Government since the 9th ultimo under the arrangements in force prior to that date and which have not been made.

The following payments have been made since the 9th ultimo:—

The only other payments arising since the date mentioned and which have not yet been made are in respect of Judges' pensions for the quarter ended 31st March, 1932, and Royal Irish Constabulary Pensions for the current month. A claim in respect of the first named, amounting to £4,799 3s. 4d. has been received within the past few days and is being examined.
