asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state whether the Land Commission have yet decided to acquire the Rinnmore and Cooladerry lands, Earl of Leitrim Estate, Fanad, Co. Donegal, for division amongst the tenants adjoining these lands, and, if not, whether he will take steps with a view to having said lands acquired at an early date.

The lands referred to by the Deputy form part of the untenanted land in the hands of Lord Leitrim, the acquisition of which, as I informed the Deputy on the 22nd ult., is the subject of consideration by the Land Commissioners, who hope, before long, to be in a position to have full enquiry made into the whole position, both as regards the tenanted and untenanted lands of this Estate.
