Mr. P.S. Doyle (for Mr. McGilligan)

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state (a) for each of the years 1929, 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933, and (b) for each of the financial years 1929-30, 1930-31, 1931-32, 1932-33 and 1933-34, the amounts paid in respect of unemployment insurance to (1) work-people, and (2) associations, and to estimate the said amounts for the year 1934.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state (a) for each of the years 1929, 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933, and (b) for each of the financial years 1929-30, 1930-31, 1931-32, 1932-33 and 1933-34, the income from the sale of unemployment insurance stamps, and to estimate the income likely to be derived from such sales in the year 1934, and to adjust the figures for actual sales in any year in which the contribution was at a lesser rate so as to compare with the years in which the contribution was at or about the rate of 1/7.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state (a) for each of the years 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933 and (b) for each of the financial years 1930/31, 1931/32, 1932/33 and 1933/34 the actual income of the Unemployment Fund as derived from (1) contributions by employers and work people, and (2) State Grant, and to adjust the figures of actual income in any year in which the contributions and State Grant were at or related to a lesser rate so as to compare with the year in which the contribution was at or about the rate of 1/7, and to estimate the actual and adjusted income derived as aforesaid for the year 1934.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state (a) for each of the years 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933 and (b) for each of the financial years 1930/31, 1931/32, 1932/33 and 1933/34, in what proportions respectively the income of the Unemployment Insurance Fund was derived from (1) contributions in respect of adults, and (2) contributions in respect of juveniles, and to estimate the said proportion in respect of the income for the year 1934.
