The Land Commission have instituted proceedings for the acquisition of 124 acres of the untenanted lands of Youghal village on the Smithwick Estate and a scheme for their division will be prepared as expeditiously as possible. At the present stage of the proceedings, no definite date for division can be assigned.
Arising out of the reply, can the Parliamentary Secretary say how long it is since these lands were first inspected by the Land Commission? Would it be a matter of two or three years?
I have not that information available at the moment.
