asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state the county boroughs, urban districts and county board of health districts in which schemes for the medical inspection of school children are in force and in each case the number of children inspected in the years 1933/34 and 1934/35.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Medical Inspection of School Children.
I will arrange to have printed in the Official Report a statement showing for the year ended 31st March, 1934, the areas in which school medical service schemes were in operation, and the numbers of children inspected. Particulars of the numbers of children inspected during the year ended 31st March, 1935, are not yet available.
Under the schemes the county is regarded as a unit and separate statistics are not available for urban districts and county health districts therein.
