Six original works in Irish accepted for publication by the Department in 1931 have not yet been published. It is proposed to publish these books as soon as possible. Two of them have been passed for press and should be issued soon. The delay in one case is due to the action of the author, who is not satisfied with the work and continues to make revisions on the proofs. In the other cases the delays are due mainly to the pressure of work with the printing contractors.
