Vol. 60 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Irish Manuscripts Commission.

(Clare) asked the Minister for Education whether the Irish Manuscripts Commission have submitted to him one or more reports relating to the work undertaken by them, and if so whether it is contemplated that such report or reports will be published for the information of the public, and if he can indicate the date of publication.

Reports of the work of the Irish Manuscripts Commission are published periodically. These reports are contained in certain volumes of Analecta Hibernica, a publication issued by the stationery office for the Commission. The following volumes contain such reports:—Vol. I (March, 1930); Vol. II (January, 1931); Vol. III (September, 1931); Vol. IV (October, 1932); Vol. VI (November, 1934).

Is Deputy Belton incapable of asking a supplementary question in this case?

I will leave it to Deputy Davin who evidently is incapable and acknowledges the fact.
