asked the Minister for Justice if he will state the number of persons arrested during each of the last five years and charged with loitering with intent to commit a felony, and the number of such persons actually convicted of the offence with which they were charged; further, whether it is the intention to curtail the powers of arrest so as to protect innocent people against unnecessary loss of liberty.
