The circumstances of the Coote estate are at present under investigation by the Land Commission with a view to determining the suitability of the lands for acquisition. Pending the conclusion of such investigations it is not possible to state whether and when the lands may be acquired.
Is it not a fact that this case has been under consideration for several years. Would the Parliamentary Secretary indicate when he hopes to arrive at a decision?
