Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Grants under Blind Persons Act.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state the several authorities and institutions to which grants were made in each of the last three financial years under the Blind Persons Act, 1920, in respect of (a) workshops for the blind, (b) homes and hostels, (c) school residences, and (d) miscellaneous services, and the number of blind persons concerned and the expenditure incurred in each case.

The information required by the Deputy will be published in tabular form in the official report.

The following statement shows the Institutions to the Authorities of which the sums indicated were issued in each of the financial years 1933/'34, 1934/'35 and 1935/'36, in respect of the services mentioned in the question, the number of Blind persons in each Institution and the services provided.
