asked the Minister for Education if he will state in respect of the functional area of each local authority the number of scholarships from primary to secondary schools awarded in each of the years 1933-34, 1934-35, 1935-36.

The number of scholarships in secondary and vocational schools awarded by county and county borough councils as a result of the scholarship examinations held in the years 1934, 1935 and 1936, is as follows:—
