Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Health Insurance Benefits.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state in respect of the last five years for which the information is available the total number of persons to whom (a) sickness benefit and (b) disablement benefit were paid from the Health Insurance Funds and the total sum paid under each of these headings; further, whether he will state in respect of the same period the average weekly rate of (a) sickness, and (b) disablement benefit paid respectively to men and women.

The information sought by the Deputy is set out in tabular form and will be printed in the Official Report.
