asked the Minister for Education if he will state the number of primary schools which have been provided with wireless receiving apparatus, the total cost of the apparatus provided, and the proportion of the cost borne by State funds.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wireless in Primary Schools.
There is no provision from State funds for the supply of wireless receiving apparatus to primary schools and I have no official information as to the number of schools which possess such apparatus. I have been informed, however, that the number of primary schools that applied to the broadcasting authorities for copies of the schools broadcasting programme for the current year was 451.
