An area of some 336 acres in the townland of Clonin on the estates of Alexandra Burke and another and Margaret Burke is being acquired from the owners, who have accepted the offers of the Land Commission to purchase and have lodged evidence of title. This is being investigated in the usual way and when title has been proved the Land Commission will be in a position to take possession of the lands and divide them. It is not possible to state at present whether the division scheme will be put into operation this year, but there will be no unnecessary delay.
