Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Retirements from Civil Service.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state in respect of each of the Ministerial Departments of State and in respect of the principal classes of civil servants, the number of civil servants with Treaty rights who applied for discharge from the Civil Service between the 9th March, 1932, and the 24th March, 1933, the date of introduction of the Public Services (Temporary Economies) Act, 1933; the number of these since granted discharge; the annual amount of the pensions awarded; the total amount of the supplementary payments made upon discharge; and the gross total of such applications, discharges, annual pensions, and supplementary payments.

As the information requested by the Deputy contains a number of figures and is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose to circulate it in the Official Report.
